Suffering from hair loss or alopecia then you might want to go to nearest Mc Donald’s after reading this report. A team of Japanese scientists claimed that eating Mc Donald’s fries could help to re-grow hair.
These Scientists conducted an experiment to regrow hair in mice using human stem cells and they got ideal results in lab tests.
Fresh follicles which are capable of producing new locks were created. Within few days rodents had lots of hair on their back. Scientists suggested that the new experiment can also work on humans.
A secret ingredient which was combined with the stem cells aided in producing hair on mice. The ingredient was Dimethylpolysiloxane- a chemical used in Mc Donald’s fries. The chemical is used by the food joint to prevent cooking oil from foaming.
The chemical proved effective in the experiment as the same allowed the oxygen to pass through easily. The Mc Donald’s ingredient proved to be the key ingredient in creating a large number of follicles. Using this chemical they created 5000 HFG (Human follicle germs).
“This simple method is very robust and promising,” Yokohama National University Professor Junji Fukuda told Sun. “We hope this technique will improve human hair regenerative therapy to treat hair loss such as androgenic alopecia (male pattern baldness)”, he added. “In fact, we have preliminary data that suggests human HFG formation using human keratinocytes and dermal papilla cells.
