Senator Antonio Trillanes IV thinks President Rodrigo Duterte wants to declare martial law to pave the way for a revolutionary government. “Soldiers should also start reviewing their constitutional mandate,” Trillanes, Duterte’s vocal critic, said in a statement and in connection with President Rodrigo Duterte’s statement that he may declare martial law to preserve the nation if situation on illegal drugs becomes ‘virulent’.
